About the Artisan

From a day at work to shopping at the local farmer’s market or going to a movie or a special dinner in the evening, Celeste’s jewelry designs are meant to be worn every day by real women leading real lives.

Celeste has been creating jewelry for over 12 years, most recently operating her studio in Downtown Utica within 4 Elements Studio and Gallery. For Celeste, the most gratifying part of being a jeweler is seeing her designs worn by women she knows, whether her friends, family, or loyal customers. She sells her jewelry at fine arts and crafts fairs throughout the Northeast and at selected shops. Celeste is delighted when women come up to her booth already wearing her work. From these women, she learns that the simple elegance of her designs have a staying power! Celeste strives to create elegant timeless jewelry that can be worn by women of all ages and then passed along to the next generation.

It is important to Celeste to be involved in the larger arts and crafts community. In keeping with this, as of January 2017, Celeste is the Executive Director of Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival, a juried arts and crafts festival in Norwich, NY. Held annually on the first weekend after Labor Day, Colorscape is a highly regarded arts festival in central New York. She is also one of the original organizers of the Utica Art Fair, held every Thanksgiving Weekend in Downtown Utica.
